Shiatsu
Shiatsu (Japanese for “finger pressure”) is a holistic body therapy in which the therapist uses his hands, elbows, knees and feet to specifically influence the meridian system of the client. Pressure, stretching or even slight rotations stimulate the client’s self-healing powers.
This form of treatment has an effect on body, mind and soul.
The aim of the treatment is to initiate health-promoting processes, to recognize and strengthen the client’s resources and to promote a more conscious approach to himself.
Shiatsu has a healing effect on the following complaints:
- headache, migraine
- pain or tension in the neck, back, or shoulders
- digestive problems
- menstrual or menopausal symptoms
- nervousness
- insomnia
- states of exhaustion
During the treatment, the client lies in comfortable clothes on a futon on the floor.
The treatment is suited for people of all ages.
Shiatsu can be used in conjunction with traditional medical treatments.
